Freshwater Pearl Bangle Bracelet
Freshwater Pearl Bangle Bracelet
Freshwater pearl bangle bracelet.
This bracelet is a fascinating study of mixed materials. I used a thick sterling silver wire to allow the freshwater pearls to slide and move, yet stay shaped into a bangle. The centerpiece is a fine silver (99.9 % pure) rectangle that lays on its edge, almost creating a diamond shape. I hammered and shaped it to be slightly organic in its shape.
Each white 10mm freshwater pearl has been drilled to accommodate the thick wire. The bracelet just slips on.
***To figure out your size bangle***
Take a tape measure and measure the part of your hand as seen in the last photo. A bangle is measured based on your hand size, not your wrist size. Just put all of your fingers together, including your thumb, and wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your hand.
This bangle is for a size 8.5 hand and is 2.75 inches inside diameter.
